Mt. Bike ride to the Sugar Camp waterfalls after the floods

September 27th, 2009

John, Richard, Dennis, and Harrison rode to the two waterfalls in Sugar Camp Hollow.  The flood rearranged several bridges, and took one over the waterfall, but the big bridge over Horse Creek was undamaged ( a tribute to the re-builder Pat Riley).  We found several good fossils including a nice trilobite.

  • Glad the big bridge over Horse Creek was undamaged! Very cool, what a beautiful spot. Will show you the trails in Los Angeles if you ever come here! Check my photo albums for Sun Valley, Idaho too!
