SCHIMBA kayaks again on Upper Bear Creek, Sept 6, 2008

John Ross, Richard Rogers, Randy Stanfield, Levi Stanfield, Pat Riley, and Alan Miller kayaked today on Upper Bear Creek. The route was the same as in June, but this was the first trip here for Alan and Pat. Dennis Turnbo was out nursing his sore knee from the Nantahala Falls, Andrew Welch is in Texas working, and Ian Orford has gone to England. This was the next to last release by TVA for the year, but no one else was there. We had the creek to ourselves except the guy hired to keep people from trying to run Factory Falls. Hi John, great photo record as usual. It looks like the ‘Team’ had a great time, and a couple of new additions. I hope Pat and Alan enjoyed themselves.
Of all the ‘events’ going on in Hardin County while we are away this is the one I regret missing the most! Cheers, Ian
